It helps to know the rules before we play the game. In fact, it is difficult to even play the game with a set of rules that are antiquated and obsolete. There are some new guidelines surrounding the power of the Mind for golf or any human endeavor, the likes of which have not been explained and experienced before. While many of us may kick and scream about the rules and what they imply (the importance of the mental versus the physical), they are not going to go away; particularly for those of us who want our games to excel and truly thrive.
